Ellie Jane Goulding born 30th December 1986, Hereford England. Tracey Goulding Summers employed as a supermarket clerk. Arthur Goulding, the father of Ellie Jane Goulding employed as an undertaker. Goulding came into the world in 2000. Her sisters are, Isabel and Jordan. The brother of her is Alex. Alex Goulding's younger brother plays bass. He is also an Hereford musician. As a girl, her mother encouraged the young woman to take up the instrument. Clarinet was her first instrument as she was nine years old. When she was 14, she began creating her first music, but she did not start seriously writing songs until her time in college. Goulding began to become attracted to electronic music during the time she studied. She was on MySpace Goulding kept in touch with Frankmusik who was the producer of records and the two of them came up with their own folktronica style. Her name was discovered during this time by scout Jamie Lillywhite, who initially worked as her manager, before transitioning to the position of A.&R. during a university talent competition.
