Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, born on August 4, 1981, is an American actor. Her most famous work is her roles in the films Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful This Is Where I Leave You and the show on TV called Angel's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. The actress is currently starring as Amantha Holden on the Sundance Channel Drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked on television and film. She gained fame for her role on Rectify (a drama) and Timeless (a sci-fi). She is a native of Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut with a role in the soap-opera All My Children. She won a Soap Opera Digest Award for the most outstanding female newcomer. She played mostly guest roles for several years in TV programs. In the show Hawthorne She was highly praised for playing her character Dr. Erin Jameson. With her amazing looks and her acting skills gradually, she gained an enormous following. At the age of 20 years old, her first movie part was Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War as along with Chasing Mavericks are other films in which she appeared. The character she played as the lead character in Beautiful Now was recognized with a Madrid International Film Festival Award. Recently, Spencer portrayed Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. Spencer was awarded an Teen Choice Award nomination and has also been highly praised for her performance in this show by the reviewers.
