Allyson Felix
Allyson Melissa Felix was born at Los Angeles, California on the 18th of November, 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister at Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix demonstrated a talent in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her talent for sprinting when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks after her very first tryout. Felix graduated from high school and signed a pro-contract with Adidas. In 2004, she enrolled in her first year at the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s, setting a new junior world record. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in running 200m. In 2007, she defended the title against her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top third of each of her races in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
